Continuation from previous post (click here), by 7.00pm, everyone gathered at the lobby and walked to Lee Garden Plaza for dinner.

After dinner, for those who were interested to visit Stainless Steel Temple paid 150baht for the ride up. Fortunately, it didn’t rain. The spectacular Buddhist temple high up on a hill about 10km out of Hat Yai. Chedi Thaimongkhon was made from all stainless steel tubing and is lit up at night and visible from the road below the hill that passes it.
The big Gong
For those money minded person like us, throw any coin to the “gold” coated stone and rub it. After rubbing, “grab” the energy and put “them” into your pocket as if you are keeping something inside.
The Super Gold Rock
Many bells can be sighted. They were also divided into categories; day of your birth, month and zodiac. It has something to do with dreams come true.

The core of the temple
Winding stairway and bell
The pillar
Looking all the way up….beautiful
Looking very pale inside..hehe
Sorry. The photo did not do justice compared to the real thing !
Just ask the hotel to arrange ride for you. The road up was very dark, no street lamp and you need a familiar driver with good skills or else, you might end up rolling down the hill. The temple is located at Moo 8 of Ban Nai Rai on Punnakan Rood in Tambon Khor Hong of Amphur Hatyai.
Our supper..Spinach pie and Corn pie.
The night pretty much ended by us loitering around looking for food. Hehe. Have a nice day everyone.
