Welcome! Welcome to this beautiful French House!
That was where we went for my sis pre-birthday celebration just between me and her. Well, it also served as a gossip session (all women need that). Ok, so we arrived at Maison around 1.20pm as their hi-tea only serve from 1pm onwards. We did not make any reservation. Thanks to my sis’s Waze GPS app in her phone or else we will never made it here. There were a few moments when the Waze said “turn left” and I have to make a sudden turn as if I'm escaping from the police… Genius me!
Birthday girl!! |
It looks like a very elegant French house indeed.. lots of chandeliers |
The bar is on the left of the entrance |
Very refine and elegant black and white theme. I loved the minimalist design |
Arranging flowers on every table |
So here is the menu for high tea which is RM38++ (minimum 2 person) and exclusive of drinks. According to the staff, some of the item may not be available and will be replace with available pastries or desserts. The main reason my sis chose this place was to try their famous Cannele de Bordenux; a cake with a rich custardy interior enclosed by a thin caramelized shell, flavored with dark rum.
We opted for ice passion fruit tea and Americano coffee. |
I was peeping through the glass door and trying take pictures. I was surprised when the staffs gracefully invited me in for a formal capturing, cause normally I will be told off not to do so. They do have a private dining room which will be able to fit about 20 pax. It is ideal for a small gathering or any form of celebration (my birthday is coming soon. Hint! Hint!)

As you can see from here, we did not get to have Apricot delight (Roasted apricot from Provence in butter sauce with vanilla ice cream) and Crêpe with caramel sauce (A a very thin French pancake topped with sweet caramel sauce) as stated in the menu and been replaced with double Raspberry Tarts and other pastries.
Clockwise: Raspberry tarts, Cannele, Mini passion fruit entremet, Croissant, lemon infused chocolate entremet and Danish pastry with chocolate chips.
The raspberry tarts sweetness were well balanced.Love the pastry, not too thick and have the buttery smell. Cannele was good so were other pastries. Passion fruit mousse was slightly on the sweet side. Oh ya, in the middle was the Figs jam. Loved it! Very homemade feeling…

After 2 hours of eating and gossiping, we decided to make our way home. While I was taking the last few pictures, the waiter was very kind to show us around the place. I feel like someone “important”… Haha. Just let me continue my imagination ok? So he lead us upstairs
Cigar lounge |
Upstairs bar; there were bars in every floor |
Then after viewing upstairs, we head downstairs to the pool area. I truly find this place interesting and beautiful for events. For example, we can have your cocktail party near the pool side, afterwards to the dining area for proper dining and end the night at the cigar lounge. I'm so thoughtful to plan it out for you all.
See, I told you. Bar at the pool area.. |
Perfect for white and black theme party |
