Getting married in Malaysia is actually quite economical, true story. All you need is to register your marriage for RM30 in government registration office. But of course, who willing to do JUST THAT? Wedding is once a life time event but don't overspend also la or worst of all, take loan for your wedding (together forever- paying loan!).
After a few brainstorming with parents and hubby, we finally decided to have the Registration of Marriage and the Chinese ceremony on the same day. Most of the Chinese are very particular on the timing (time the groom must arrive, time for the bride to leave the house and what time should arrive at the groom’s house). Well for us, we only chose the lucky date 30.12.12 but not particular on the time.
Thank you my dear for giving me such a beautiful wedding. The road ahead may not be easy but I'm glad it's you I'm sharing this journey with. I love you and only you. Till death do us apart
My hubby also managed to convince the JPN officer to attend and witness our signing ceremony. It wasn't an easy tasks. So tedious and need to go a few round to JPN office in Shah Alam (got rejected the first time and my hubby secretly went there again to reapply), PKNS (for some signature and chop) and submit back to JPN office, waited for available officer for confirmation… One word: Mess! But it is definitely worth it..
OK...I better go straight to the point. My make up artist arrived at 7.30am (she told me 8am), luckily I already showered and dried my hair. My videographer was late cause they have to meet at my husband’s place in Subang Jaya, I'm from Klang. So the below picture is my dress from PRECIOUS SS2. They got my size. Thank God and its under VVIP dress without any extra charges…Yeahhh! I loved this dress so much (We only paid RM2000 for the photography service..read more here).

Our DIY dessert table. My sister managed to borrow jars and glass displays from her boss. So kind of her. We bought strawberry rolls, candy (whatever with pinkish wrapper, jelly beans, few dozens of cupcake from Wondermilk and cookies favors from Eventcheerly- ultimate delicious choc cookies)
We folded 1000 origami crane birds for ONE wish and the wish shall be a secret. Took us months to fold and days to string (have to insert a bead as a stopper to each bird…OH MY GOD!!!!)
Ohana means family. Family means everything to me!
Its a Chinese tradition for parents to cover the daughters’ veil
Before the groom and gan arrive to the bride house, they must horn very very LOUDLY from a distance to let everyone knows that they are coming. I freaked out at this moment and quickly went back to my room and locked the door. LOL. This is the part that he must fight for me.
The bridal car door can only be open by either younger brother or any younger male relatives.
Thank you for the service boy
The fun begins! Doll up prettily. Nice bracelet

Praying to the ancestors
Flower boys and girls
For walking down the pathway, we chose “Canon D Major” violin version. So beautiful. After praying to my ancestors and my late grandma, the sudden emotion just washed all over me. The thought of not being so near to my family, the thought that my late grandma could not witness my wedding and not able to be there for them brought me to tears. That’s the part I lost control and broke down. Cry baby
Our R.O.M ceremony was done outdoor. Very beautiful but in reality, hot like crazy. Feel like chicken in the oven.
Signing away my singlehood T____T
Exchanging vows. My hubby was so sweet. He remembered every single line of the vows. I was so touched till I forgot mine. Crap!
My dad was so angry when he saw this picture because of his shirt collar. Hahaha. “Aiyo, why no one tell me? I look like rascal”
Tea Ceremony is an official ritual to introduce the newlyweds to each other's family, and it's a way for newlyweds to show respect and appreciation to their parents. The newlyweds will be serving tea to both side of parents, as well as elder close relatives. Parents give their words of blessing and gifts to the newlyweds. During tea presentation, a "Good Luck Woman" would say auspicious phrases to bless the newlyweds and the parents. These auspicious words of blessing are designed to bless and amuse the family and make the occasion filled with fun and joy. (Source: Wikipedia)
