Krabi: Aonang Street Food

Since I still have the FIRE and mood to  write about the Krabi trip, I think I better do it now. From the previous post which was our accommodation (Aree Tara Resort), lets continue from there.

If you are staying in Aree Tara Resort, this is the route to the beach and eateries:

1. From hotel alley, turn RIGHT and turn RIGHT again into the main street.
2. Walk ALONG the street and you will be able to see many hotels along the way.
3. At the T-junction (The Small Krabi Hotel will be on your right), turn LEFT.
4. Walk about 100-200m, you will see many street stalls selling pancakes, rice, meat on sticks and etc on your RIGHT.
5. As for the beach, just walk all the way straight and the beach is at the end of the curb.

The pancake stall opposite The Small Krabi. 40 Baht for banana pancake. Elsewhere was selling 20 Baht. Feel cheated

The ingredients

3

The 40 Baht banana pancake with chocolate drizzle. Taste wise was not bad. Would be better if crispier..

So tempted to try everything

7

Meat on stick

Grilled chicken skewer? In Malaysia, we called it as “Ayam Percik”

22 Remember this stall cause…..

8

it sells the best chicken sate I’ve ever tasted so far. So juicy, succulent and well-marinated (10 baht each) and the dipping is only Thai chili sauce. So gooood…

9

We dine under the tree..syok

10

Pineapple fried rice (50Baht) … a bit on the sweet side

 11

Variety…variety (10 baht per stick)

12

Refreshing water melon juice and banana shake.
Both very yummy..seriously (20 baht each)

A very cute little tuk-tuk

Tuk –tuk within tuk-tuk

Ok. Ok. We had to stop eating as we already make arrangement for dinner. A very romantic sunset dinner. By the time we walked back to hotel, we had to get ready. Curious to know where? Hehe. Be patient k?

I will be back…soon…Peace!
