Everything started when I read someone’s blog regarding this restaurant and I told myself, this place is a must in our itinerary. Despite some reviews from Tripadvisor saying that the food price was kinda steep, its ok, we need to experience it ourselves.
Lae Lay Grill provide free transfer from hotel. So convenient. Just let the hotel know and they will arrange everything for you. We were picked up around 5.45pm, do not want to miss the sunset, no doubt it was cloudy that day. 5 minutes ride from our hotel.
** Pls do not attempt to walk all the way up from the bottom of the hill cause when you reach the top, there are still few more flight of stairs to climb.

Personally, from my meaningless opinion, the seafood did not lived up to my expectation. I was a little disappointed mainly because of the prawns weren’t fresh, soggy and mushy. Even though the crab did not have the grilled flavor but overall was sweet and good.

One thing that made everything seems perfect was the superb service in Lae Lay Grill. Very attentive but at the same time, privacy was given . The extra Tom Yum soup that we ordered was delicious. The level of spiciness was just nice…..yumm! (I wished we had ordered a bigger bowl)

It has been a while since we had a romantic dinner and no doubt that Lae Lay Grill has the best view and service. As for food, there is still room for improvement but overall, we had a really good dining experience.
Total damage including 10% service charge and 7%VAT: 1860++ Baht
It was worth it. If you happen to be in Aonang, do try out this place.
